Producer's profileLa Querce is a winery not far from Florence, with vineyards and olive groves on the Florentine hills of Impruneta. His name is given to a huge oak trees, torn down by German Army during the retreat of the Second World War. This large tree shaded the chapel next to the villa of the fifteenth century, what it is now drawn on wine labels.
In 1962 the estate was bought by Gino Marchi father of current owner Massimo. For hundreds of years producing wine and olive oil from grapes and from olives harvested in our fields cultivated with great passion.
In the Seventies he began bottling wine and olive oil. At the end of the Nineties began a renewal of vineyards which has yet to end.
This working in collaboration with qualified technicians led to a further improvement in quality, which allowed the company to return to produce wine and extra virgin olive oil of high quality.
